A highly reputed club with ties to the acclaimed William Langford, this private layout was updated to better compete in the high-end Milwaukee golf market. The club re-grassed all 20 of its putting surfaces to A1 bentgrass while completely rebuilding five of the more severely sloped greens. The surrounds of each green were lowered and reconfigured giving them the elevated appearance associated with the style of Langford, whose work is prominent in the area. This same spirit was incorporated in the diagonal fairway bunkering that was added or revised to improve the strategic values on each hole relative to modern playing equipment. Overall, the renovation here was a huge success and the Club’s membership numbers are way up as a result.
